Iran

A great video clip from Adam Samberg on Iran and Amadinejad. Scroll down a bit to find it.

That isn't this post though.

AP - Iran dismisses nuke documents as fakes
February 25, 2008

UN nuclear monitoring agency presented documents Monday that diplomats said indicate Iran may have focused on a nuclear weapons program after 2003 - the year that a US intelligence report says such work stopped.

*******************

NOTE:
1. It is the UN agency that said this.
2. The UN agency has at its head Oli Heinonen - NOT an American and NOT on Bush's payroll
3. The IAEA is headed by Muhammad el-Baradei ... a supporter of Iran and strongly opposed to the US
4. The UN would overlook piles of cocaine at a drug lords estate in Columbia if it would embarrass Bush and or give Iran or for that matter any country longer to achieve whatever weaponry they desired.

Part of the UN conclusions was summed up this way:
British IAEA delegate Simon Smith said information on weapons-related activities shown to board members "went beyond 2003. Another diplomat said some documentation focused on an Iranian report on nuclear activities that experts have said could be related to weapons.
She said it was unclear whether the project was being worked on in 2004, or whether the report was a review of past activities.

Soooooooooooooooooooo what about that US intelligence report that said they STOPPED in 2003!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, re-read the report, this time open your eyes and take off the myopic glasses ... it never said THEY STOPPED with certainty nor did it state that they stopped certain aspects of nuclear weapons production. What the world gleefully jumped on, as a slap to Bush, were sentences that were as definitive as weathermen predicting the weather with any certainty.

When and if Iran gets the weapon, we will know who to thank.
