There are no words. I honestly have hoped that as bad as some people are in the US (Jerry Spreneger guests), that somehow we are not as bad as everyone else, and then comes an article like this.
The father should behave like a father. The age gap isn't an issue, but one might wonder (and I think we can assume correctly) if he has other children by another woman or two. Multiple children and one who will become his wife ... sort of like the Pharaohs of Egypt.
The daughter stated she went to a therapist - from reading, it seemed like she went BEFORE she met the father, for if she went AFTER (when she was pregnant - the point would be mute wouldn't it).
And while those are serious issues, Cathy Hayes, the staff writer of the article - used a phrase 'she fell pregnant' (referring to the Irish woman's mother) ... 'fell pregnant' ... I do't think you fall and get pregnant nor do you fall pregnant as you fall ill.

Last year Penny Lawrence (28) tracked down her long-lost father Garry Ryan (46). Lawrence is now pregnant with his child and claims to be in love with her father.
Garry Ryan was born in Dublin but moved to the US with his family when he was two. Lawrence's mother met him, fell pregnant but Ryan left before the child was born. Her rmother returned to Ireland.
When Lawrence was four and living back in Ireland her mother died and her maternal grandparents raised her. They died when she was 18-years-old.
Lawrence then became fixated on finding her only remaining relative, her father. Last year she found him in Houston, Texas.
After several daily phone calls she flew to America to surprise him.
Ryan said that the pair felt an instant physical attraction and they soon began a relationship. Lawrence is now pregnant with his child.
Their situation they say can be accounted for by Genetic Sexual Attraction, a term which has been used since the 1980s to describe feelings of attraction between blood relatives who meet first as adults. There is a theory that humans are attracted to faces similar to their own. Also not meeting until both are adults means that normal sexual taboo between relatives has not had time to develop.
Speaking to the Irish Sun Newspaper Lawrence said "We are not committing incest, but are victims of GSA. We’ve never experienced a father-daughter relationship, so we’re just like any other strangers who meet in adulthood."
Lawrence revealed that her three month scan showed no defects. The couple now plan to proceed with the pregnancy and set up a home together.
They say they do realize that their relationship is illegal and are now afraid that they will be ordered apart by the courts.
He said "It’s no different than if I met Penny in a bar. I’d have fallen for her as I have now. It doesn’t feel like we are doing anything wrong."
Ryan explained his situation when he left Penny’s mother.
He said "I was an 18-year-old kid and when Angela told me she was pregnant I wanted to do the right thing. We decided to get married but Angela’s parents disapproved of the relationship and didn’t want me around."
Lawrence said her therapist had warned her about GSA. She said "I did some research into it. I was stunned that some brothers and sisters, daughters and dads and mothers and sons were actually living happily as man and wife."
However there is a lack of an actual medical and psychological definition and acknowledgement of GSA. As Ryan points out "GSA isn't recognized in court."

Without question, these things occur. We need look no further than Texas and the freak show unfolding in the Yearning for Zion compound. It is not so much that the initial act occurred that is so disturbing, rather - that it went on for nearly a quarter of a century.

A 73-year-old Austrian is under arrest on suspicion of hiding his daughter in a cellar for 24 years and fathering seven children with her, police say.
The existence of the woman, believed missing since 1984 and now 42, emerged after a teenage child fell ill and had to be taken to hospital.
Both the woman and teenage girl are receiving medical treatment and the other children are in care.
A police investigation in Amstetten, Lower Austria Province, is continuing.
The suspect, named only as Josef F, was arrested on suspicion of incest and keeping his daughter in captivity. He has not responded to the charges against him, police say.
One of the children the man allegedly fathered died in infancy, police believe.
Three children, including the 19-year-old, were allegedly kept in the cellar with their mother while the other three reportedly grew up with their grandparents.
DNA tests will be taken to establish whether Josef F was indeed their father.
The alleged crimes came to light after the teenager, named as Kerstin F, was dropped off at the Amstetten hospital last weekend.
Finding Kerstin seriously ill, doctors appealed for her mother, who at that time was assumed to be missing, to come forward to provide more details about her medical history.
Josef F allegedly then released the mother and two other children from the cellar, telling his wife Rosemarie that she had chosen to return home, police say.
It was not immediately clear how police were alerted.
The mother, named as Elisabeth F, has been receiving medical and psychological treatment since being discovered.
She appeared "greatly disturbed" psychologically during questioning and agreed to talk only after authorities assured her that she would no longer have to have contact with her father, and that her children would be taken care of, police added.
The six children are three boys and three girls aged between five and 20.
Police spokesman Franz Polzer told reporters they had been taken to a safe location.
"They are all in psychological care in a secure institution in a clinic here in this area," he said.
"They are being cared for individually - those between 12 and 16 years of age who grew up with their grandparents, and two boys who, when they came out yesterday with their mother, saw the daylight for the first time in their lives."
The police issued a statement giving details of the alleged abuses Elisabeth recounted to them.
She said she had been sexually abused by her father since the age of 11.
Josef allegedly lured her into the cellar of their house in Amstetten on 28 August 1984, drugging and handcuffing her before locking her up.
It was assumed she had disappeared voluntarily when her parents received a letter from her asking them not to search for her.
"Abused continuously during the 24-year-long imprisonment", Elisabeth bore six children while a seventh, one of a set of twins, died soon after birth.
The dead baby was allegedly taken out of the cellar and burnt by Josef.
Elisabeth said Josef had provided her and three of her children, who were locked up along with her, with clothing and food.
His wife Rosemarie had allegedly not been aware of what was going on.
The discovery of another Austrian woman, who was held captive in a cellar by an abductor for more than eight years, gripped the country in 2006.

A series of underground rooms equipped for sleeping and cooking, and with sanitary facilities, lay behind a concealed door, police said.
Josef Fritzl is said to have told his wife, Rosemarie, and local authorities that three babies had been left by Elisabeth on their doorstep, in different years.
Each delivery was accompanied by a letter purportedly signed by Elisabeth Fritzl saying she could not support the child because she already had others to care for.
The trio went to school as normal, seemingly unaware that their mother and three other siblings (a girl of 19, and boys at 18 and five) were trapped underground.
He is said to have told his wife they suddenly re-appeared.
UPDATE: 4/30/08
Yet more clues point to third-party involvement. The door to the dungeon - which had received building permission as a nuclear fallout shelter - weighed 300kg (660lb) and could only have been hinged into position with the help of someone else. Mr Fritzl, moreover, went on several holidays, including at least one three-week stay in Thailand, leaving Elisabeth and her children in the cellar.

So let's recap.
This monster began molesting his 11 year old daughter in 1977. The molestation / rape continued for seven years until she was 18, at which time she was put in the basement and handcuffed and locked up.
The mother of course had NO IDEA for the SEVEN YEARS what was happening.
Then, the monster gets his drugged and handcuffed daughter to write a letter saying she has run away, takes it upstairs and acts surprised when he finds it in the mailbox.
Then she starts having babies.
A few of these babies are taken upstairs and get to live with the grandparents as grandparents. I suspect at least 1 or 2 are female. Good question as to what they had to go through upstairs.
How do you explain to your wife where they are coming from. 'Oh dear, yes, the stork left these on the doorstep and I just had to bring them in to our loving home" "I really wish the stork would stop with these babies, other people are deserving and we are getting quite old to have new babies." "Let me get a shot at that stork and I will ensure it never brings another baby here. We are overcrowded and do not have the money or food to raise any more children."
And the wife obliges.
And someone tipped off the authorities. Who. Why? How???

Imagine how evil this man is to rape his daughter and then molest his daughters from his daughter. And all during this the wife is .... what is she doing. Never going into the basement for 24 years. Never. Childbirth is loud. Babies crying are loud. Children playing can be loud.
This den of evil is closed. I hope they tear the building down.
And for those sick, deviants wherever you may be - be it Australia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Singapore, South Africa - you deserve to spend twenty years with Bubba [Bubba is whatever your worst fear would be in prison] being his playmate. It is not a special love or special thing you are doing that no one else understands (like the freaks in Texas) - universally all 6 billion human beings want to rip out your hearts and shove them down your throat. This Frizl person deserves death and if European justice was 'just' he would get death. Unfortunately it is not 'just' and he will end up in prison for 50 years. Valuing life does not mean keeping these type of beings alive, it means so condemning them that the ultimate sanction is imposed. In the alternative, maybe we just hand you over to bin Laden. Anti-war Cindy Sheehan files to take on Pelosi
Peace activist Cindy Sheehan wants to snatch House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's congressional seat from her in November, but first she's going to need the help - and signatures - of 10,198 friends and supporters.
Sheehan was at San Francisco City Hall on Friday to take out papers for her independent run for Congress, but without those signatures from voters in the district, her name won't show up on the ballot.

She is at it again. This woman is like a cancer. Surgery doesn't get her to go away. She has made a mockery of her son's life and his death and has humiliated her family and herself.
Pelosi is most likely rabid over this. Pelosi gets rabid quite easily. People on her front lawn protesting - she would like them all arrested ... but for the small issue of free speech so this is a real problem for her, even if Pelosi can't lose.

The Freaks in Texas
They remind me of Losercrats and Retardicans. No matter what the evidence is, they refuse to budge. For the Losercrats and Retardicans, it is simply a matter of sanity. If either concedes, even to facts, they will melt into a pile of jello. The truth can slap them upside the head and they will not budge. One does not need to be very bright to be either a Losercrat or a Retardican.
On the other hand, the freaks in Texas - a bed inside a glorified pimp shop reserved for men to rape girls as young as 13. Some men had as many as 20 'wives'. Some girls were popping out the babies like an assembly line, at 16. 416 children have been taken into custody - most do not know who their parents are, their last names, or birth dates.
I don't know how many people lived on the sex ranch (I saw one number of 10,000 freaks), but no one new joined, no one really ever left and husbands married more than one wife. That must get tricky (four, eight, fifty, even one story of one man having over 150 wives). I am no whiz at math, but I can tell that after some period of time, everyone will be intermarried and the rapes that go on will be between cousins. Those records must be somewhere because even those freaks would keep records to prevent brother and sister from reproducing (we hope).
Now the freaks in the freak shop will never understand the loathing we have for what went on, they will never understand, and will in fact, become defensive. It is sad. Sad that they will NEVER understand what they were doing was not God's will. We may not know what His will is with any certainty, but we can probably figure out a few things He does not approve of ... that freak shop is one. If I was 19, I would have tried to stop the authorities - all that sex in holy beds was coming to an end for these freaks. I only wish they would find time in prison with Bubba - for personal time.
Deviancy should not be rewarded, YET how to accommodate the issue of religious freedom. At what point is it no longer just an issue of religious freedom. I suppose the simple answer is - when it impacts young children. Everything else is perfectly fine. So it isn't really like they were trawling through the Vatican as an attorney for the sect argued.

Child Protective Services spokesman Darrell Azar says 53 girls between the ages of 14 and 17 were living on the ranch in El Dorado. Of that group, 31 already have children or are pregnant.
State officials took custody of all 463 children at the Yearning For Zion Ranch more than three weeks ago after a raid prompted by calls to a domestic violence hotline.
Child welfare officials say there was a pattern of underage girls forced into "spiritual marriages" with much older men at the ranch.

Iraq - Approaching 4,000
When one American is killed it is too many and God knows we have given enough lives in order that others might be free, vote, raise families, and work very hard to oppose us at various times. Now we approach 4,000 Americans killed in Iraq, well over that number if Afghanistan is counted and over 7000 if you count the Americans killed on September 11 and probably closer to 8,000 when you consider all Americans killed by terrorism and terrorists.
I do have one comment for the faint of heart - when we are attacked again, 8,000 will be the starting number and it will climb exponentially. They will of course express outrage and anger, frustration, and sadness, and guilt. Guilt that they did not bring American troops home sooner and perhaps prevent what will engulf all Americans, sooner than later.
Fine. Whatever.
That will be for another time, but I did wish to point out a few facts for the dimwitted among us.
The greatest and silliest is something of the following:
Americans are dying in a needless war to foist our democracy on people who do not want it. Leave them be and let them kill each other if they want. There is nothing we should do. Its their problem. 4,000 lives to accomplish what and for what have they died.
The argument requires a few underlying assumptions to work:
1) that we are trying to foist democracy upon them
2) that we are trying to foist American democracy upon them
The problem with this is it isn't true. Lack of basic information about Islam - it is already equipped for a democratic process. We are not foisting anything alien to the culture upon them.
We are not trying to foist American democracy on them and no one has ever said we were trying.
3) That some how these people kill and have been killed forever as opposed to more reasonable and civilized peoples elsewhere. It implies two sets of data - us and them where the us are more rational and do not wantonly murder and them who do murder wantonly.
Let's move on ...
May - 2,106 killed
June - 1,185 killed
July - 968 killed
August - 636 killed
September -589 killed
October - 545 killed
November - 467 killed
December - 411 killed
TOTAL: 6,907
Those are the numbers for Americans killed during World War II during a given reporting period.
6,907 American soldiers killed in an eight month period.
Contrasted with nearly 4,000 killed in Iraq since March 2003 (5 years + few days)
(which is 4000 too many)
The problem with the numbers provided above (source is available listed at bottom of page) is they are for the year 1945 and the months AFTER the war while the US occupied Germany.
A country with similar traditions, culture, values, political and economic systems ... and the German people who were freed from the dictatorship and tyranny of Hitler were so welcoming that they killed 6907 US Army soldiers in the last eight months of 1945, AFTER THE WAR ENDED, and another 1,478 American soldiers in 1946.
THAT by people who wanted to be free and who share more with us than the Iraqis ever will.
Go suck on them apples for awhile. Those numbers are most certainly, an inconvenient truth.

Stupid French People
The truly stupid catering to the wholly inept fed by the ignorant.
I will say this about this stupid cow ... I have an interest in Edith Piaf, thanks to someone I knew, and watching the media about this woman winning an oscar, has made me think of that someone again. I should therefore see this movie sometime.
And while we should never generalize about the French, particularly given their close friendship with the US (now), it is a country that thrives on conspiracies. A best selling book in France was about 9/11 - and conspiracies. They are as a group (with exceptions) fools.
In the meantime:
Actress Marion Cotillard sparked a political row yesterday after accusing America of fabricating the 9/11 attacks.

I will say this about this stupid cow ... I have an interest in Edith Piaf, thanks to someone I knew, and watching the media about this woman winning an oscar, has made me think of that someone again. I should therefore see this movie sometime.

Hold a hearing
In the far fetched world of my imagination, the following very well could have taken place a few weeks ago;
Henry Waxman, strolling down the corridors of power, still breathing very deeply the air of power all around him, unable even at this late date to believe he and his fellow Democrats had taken power away from what seemed only three years ago, a unified and powerful Republican majority. He starts whistling, then his nostril catches the scent of smoke - he stops in mid stride, nearly toppling over because literally it was mid-stride. The smell was coming from the closet, he opens the door and sees a congressman in the closet with a cigarette. His eyes widen, his mouth narrows, his nostril flares and he points and opens his mouth. Out of the mouth comes the most ear splitting sound as he points and waves his finger. The republican congressman cowers and begins to fall out of the closet, stumbling away from the pointing Waxman ... the crescendo builds ... the Republican congressman runs down the hall. By now, others have gathered and are pointing and screeching also. Soon a large swarm have gathered and as the Republican scrambles away, the mob chases. As they go out of sight, Waxman closes his mouth and continues along whistling. A few moments later he bumps in to Nancy Pelosi -
"Hiya Nance - beautiful morning isn't it?"
"It sure is Henry. Anything new today?"
"We should think about running some ads in the 13th district. They will be needing a new congressman."
"Great. Oh Henry, I heard from a little bird, before I swallowed it, that Bush is in league with the manufacturer of HGH. It seems he wants to grow and will try anything."
"Gee, I used the rack and I grew two inches. It was a little painful, but it worked. You know Nance, you should try it. Looking a little short, you are."

Two weeks later - House Committee Hearings involving baseball pitcher Roger Clemens consume dozens of hours of congress' time, interns are paid, aides are paid, photographers are paid - tens of thousands of dollars are spent to determine whether a baseball player used HGH.
At a time when scores of people are killed by al-qaida daily, Pakistan's nuclear program is in serious jeopardy with the kidnapping of its scientists, al-qaida is in its death throes in Iraq (making it even more dangerous) ... the US Congress finds it important enough to avoid work on serious legislation and hold hearings on whether Roger Clemens used HGH.
"I'm sorry we had the hearing. I regret that we had the hearing." so says Henry Waxman.
It is, according to Waxman, not his fault - Roger Clemens forced him to have hearings. Yep, I always told my lawyers that anytime I had been insulted I wanted a congressional hearing and was always told I could have one anytime. Because Clemens had been mentioned in the Mitchell Report ... so Bush could demand hearings every time his name was libeled. Ha. He could keep Congress tied up for ten years and Congress could then blame Bush for not doing the work he was hired to do.
Mr. Waxman, you were hired to work for the people, not your own sorry ego - stop wasting our money. Accept responsibility and do not do it again.

Why.
The South Central Jurisdiction for the Methodist Church, whose 290 delegates meet in July, in some part or another oppose construction of the George W. Bush's presidential library, museum and public policy institute from being built at Southern Methodist University.
The reason - because it will promote his administration's policies that they feel conflict with church teachings.
A better library for SMU: Kennedy's - it could promote the various methods of screwing around behind your wife's back, show the many faces of Marilyn Monroe, promote diversity in sexual relations, and disdain for the arts. That is very methodist like.
The Clinton library - a man who bombed more coun tries than Bush even considered bombing. It could promote the diversity of women, who were usd by Bill. It could present a showcase on political marriages and how to make them work. During the tour, there could be a hall of abortion - supported and funded by the Clinton administration. That most assuredly does not conflict with church teachings. Have another hallway showing Bill's tolerance for homosexuality and other behaviors typically regarded as not very Christian, unless you are a Methodist minister in which case it is probably very much in line with your thinking.

Brattleboro Boondoggle
An article published in the Rutland Herald, January 26, 2008, written by Susan Smallheer, explains that residents of Brattleboro will vote on March 4 whether to arrest Bush and Cheney the next time they visit Brattleboro, Vermont.
I sent a letter to the editor of the paper, suggesting the nice people of Brattleboro en masse get sterilized to prevent the passing on of their stupid genes.
Ignorant, stupid, and idiotic. It isn't a matter of taste, belief, or opinion. It is a matter of lunacy and ignorance.
Brattleboro, its unions, and everyone else who fell out of the stupid tree must strive to avoid passing the stupid gene to the next generations.
Oppose and dislike Bush, fine. Silly and wasteful voting such as that which will occur, waste more money than any average citizen can afford, and time none of us have to accomplish nothing but warming the cockles of the scores of Brattleboro citizens who fell out of the stupid tree and hit their heads the hardest.
UPDATE 3/5/08: They voted.

In the ensuing melee, hundreds are wounded, shooting breaks out everywhere. The City Council convenes and emergency meeting to request the National Guard show up, the President nationalizes the guard and they surround the city offices and everyone is arrested and tried for attempted murder, mayhem, and summarily taken to hospitals where they are all euthanized for their own good.
Maybe some good will come of this.

FBI Denies File Exposing nuclear Secrets Theft
A January 20, 2008, article in The Times Online in which "THE FBI has been accused of covering up a key case file detailing evidence against corrupt government officials and their dealings with a network stealing nuclear secrets. "
Great story and one we should ask the major media why they didn't cover every day seven times a day. We should ask Dan Rather why he wasn't investigating a potentially serious story in 2004 rather than chasing dragons.
It is not the story this time, although the story is worth reading, but the comments that followed the story (these all come from the Times website although I have not printed all of them, for space and time).
The names of the guilty/idiots/responsible have been deleted, but they are word for word (mistake for mistake). The lines in black are written by various fools and idiots (and a couple who are actually quite bright), and my comments in red:

The cover-up must be to protect the identity of the "high government official" in the US. I am an independent but I am certainly aware of the media bias against Republicans. If it were a Republican official I have no doubt that this person would have been exposed already. Was it George Tenet? He was appointed by Clinton.

I finished watching a video that Tom Cruise and his delusional band of thugs, otherwise known as Scientologists, do not want us to see. It can be located at gawker.com.
My thought is - No Thank You Tom. If the choice is between you and your delusional sort and that alien you are afraid of, I choose the alien. If the choice is between you and your idiotic claim to understanding, and being brain dead and enslaved, I choose enslavement. If the choice is between your knowledge and being picked apart by a giant bird of prey over and over again, I choose the bird of prey.
You are a nut. Certifiable. The question is, in my opinion, why you became a nut. What event pushed you over the edge and don't say you suddenly woke up and saw something for what it was. That isn't it. Something else. The same with all other scientologists - some weakness or failure in life. Perhaps in your case Tom, it is your mother and sisters who raised you, the absence of a father. Whatever it was, I really am quite sorry.

Not as I say, do as I do
I enjoy finding or stumbling upon or otherwise having sent to me an election candidate schematic or web page that asks questions and shows you the best candidate to satisfy your positions. I think we would all like someone to just tell us our choice is the right choice. That is a separate issue from this post, but it does say something about the candidates.
The point of this bit is doing as I say and not as I do - it can be any issue: medical care, Iraq, military support, Iran, or on whatever issue a candidate speaks.
For example: I am candidate C and I would like to be the next occupant of the White House, which supported and funded a war I voted for or agreed to when it was very popular. Now the war is not popular and my base of support comes from a bunch of losers who would eat me alive if I supported it. I have suddenly decided I oppose the war and had I known everything I know now I would have always opposed the war and would have fought against the war and would never have taken us to war.
Easy to say now. Position taking is a remarkable ability of politicians. Find an issue, one that has already been decided, and take the most popular position. It cannot be reversed, you may, in your heart, know it was the right decision, but you also cannot get elected without your idiot base supporting you. The decision: oppose it and claim you would have always opposed it. It doesn't matter now. It is not like you would, if elected do anything different than the guy who started the US into the conflict, but you pretend, you make-believe, you devise for yourself and your idiot base an alternate universe, one where you would do what they (would / have) (approve/d) of. What I am still perplexed about is - why they are not called on this tactic. Why a columnist, however dim-witted he or she may be, why they do not punctuate the airwaves and print media with details about this tactic - for everyone in politics is aware of this option, and anyone outside who is at all half awake knows that politicians make statements to contrast themselves from someone else, but may, personally, believe just the opposite.
In my world, we call them liars and hypocrites.

The Lie
Someone asked me a question / posed a statement concerning the seemingly (for some) age old statement of fact, agreed upon by 3/4 of humanity - he lied. My response: The biggest lie is that he lied.
It stands.
There are moments when I would like to fly off to Amsterdam (before they ban all their drugs) and get drugged up for the rest of my life to avoid dealing with the most irrational, illogical, emotionally draining nonsense.
People who believe he lied TEND to be (generalizing) liberal. They tend to believe he has implemented a police state, violated our civil liberties and believe that big business is controlling the government and or media in his favor, or at the very least, in the favor of big business. The notion of brainwashing and kidnapping, torture, and lies is so pervasive ... and so bloody simple. Simpletons.
Follow me here ... assume for one second he did not lie (which he did not) then you have been lied to and you believe a lie, spread a lie, and argue using that lie as your evidence. That lie is spread by the media and by other simpletons to the point now where someone too busy with their personal life to spend hours and weeks reading news clips, statements, and the facts, will believe the lie. They have been brainwashed.
The greatest fear the left has is self-created, and they are now living in a world of their creation with boogeymen they have created, and they are terribly afraid.

World Opinion - Partie Deux
We have a very large country with over 300 million people living at any given time, within our borders. According to recent accounts, we add one new person every 30 seconds, and that is not from birth increases.
We have as many opinions in this country as we do people - on every subject. A few watch Jerry Springer and maybe a few still believe Elvis is alive, that UFOs fly our friendly skies, that bigfoot and creatures from middle earth transform into what appear to be earthlings, all the way over the ledge with the 9/11 conspiracies.
We do have our share of fruitcakes, nuts, fools, idiots, and retarded rodeo clowns, BUT that number is, as a whole, insignificant statistically. Less than 1% of a population at any given time is irrelevant as to what their opinions are and we tend, generally, as Americans, to be middle-of-the-roaders (not to be mistaken for middle -earthers although the US is or could be in the middle of the earth depending on ones perspective. The number of fools and idiots, nuts, and fruitcakes who believe the nonsense listed above are deserving of a strong suggestion that they not reproduce, for all our sakes.
That is generally how Americans regard idiocy.
Then we have the flavorful retarded rodeo clowns who run around screaming and hissing about repairing American relations around the world. One presidential candidate said they would immediately send two former presidents on a round-the-world tour to tell the world we are back (and open for business I presume) and work very hard to repair relations with all the nations of the world that have, for seven or eight years been trampled upon. I assume that also means the Lincoln Bedroom is back up for sale.
A wise owl would ask - who are these nations we must repair relations with. Anyone who does not ask that question is neither wise nor very useful, instead they play to rhetoric and the retarded rodeo clown mentality (aka Jerry Springer guests).
So who are they, these esteemed nations we must work so hard to rebuild relations with ???
Today we work on Egypt, tomorrow, the rest of the world:
We give to Egypt on average of 2.5-3 billion dollars a year in aid. This aid, whether called a bribe or suggested as to be a bribe, is intended for the government of Egypt to use to help the people of Egypt and indirectly, increase our likability factor among the masses who should benefit from our donations. Color it whatever way you wish - International Aid intended to be used for global warming centers or homeless shelters - doesn't matter - it comes out the same - it is our way of making nice and 2.5-3 billion should get some nice out of it. We get none that is or would be discernible by the average middle-earther.
A population that believes (73-80%) no Arab, no Egyptian, no Muslim male took part in the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. Over 90% of the conspiracy believers believe THE Mohammad Atta is still alive and in hiding for his life.
A population swept up in believing that the Protocol of the Elders of Zion was actually real, and have a myth spun around the fabrication to offer up a goodly story - that the Holocaust did not occur.
A population that believes (78-90%) that Israel is sending prostitutes into Egypt and or the West Bank (which in some stories becomes interchangeable) with AIDS in order to infect Egyptian men. A population that believes Israel causes earthquakes and does so to wreak havoc on the world in their grand design for controlling the planet.
A population that believes (92%) that Israel is an enemy of their state, with a majority believing Denmark is also an enemy of their state.
What can you say about a population (60-80%) who are in denial about the most fundamental of issues? How do you discuss anything with them? When their intelligence services believe the same lies the retarded rodeo clowns on the street believe - how do you converse with these people?
Surely not by the news - they believe that the Jews and America control Al jazeera - reason: to give a bad image of Arabs to the world.

The ship docked and the murderers of Leon Klinghoffer, hijackers of the ship, were given an escort off the ship and away to freedom (for some). I believe they were still being grilled when the Egyptian airline carrying the murderers of Leon Klinghoffer was forced down by US airforce F-18s hours later, in Greece.

Planes can withstand 5 degrees or a 10 degree dive or climb, but a 40 degree dive, engines shut off would have created a speed close to 700 mph, 86% the speed of sound - the plane would have come apart as it sped toward the ocean/cement. The black box found provided tape recordings - the pilot gets up to the bathroom and leaves the cockpit under the control of the copilot. While the pilot is away, the copilot begins to recite prayers before turning the plane into a descent. Then the engines were shut off. The pilot makes it back and is screaming at the copilot - what are you doing, what did you do. The copilot ignores his screams and holds the controls pointing the plane toward the ocean cement fast approaching.

Egyptians blame Boeing. they say the co-pilot has a daughter who needed medical treatments he would bring back from the US on his flights. He would never do such a thing and leave his daughter, nor would he do something so unIslamic. The NTSB conclusions must be fabricated and a lie - Egyptians are convinced the NTSB covered up the crash and blamed it on the poor co-pilot. The percent who believe this, according to the polls - 93% of those polled believe it was a cover up by the NTSB and Boeing was responsible.

World Opinion - Partie Une
We have a very large country with over 300 million people living at any given time, within our borders. According to recent accounts, we add one new person every 30 seconds, and that is not from birth increases.
We have many opinions in this country on every subject. We also, a few, watch Jerry Springer, and maybe a few still believe Elvis is alive, UFOs fly our friendly skies, bigfoot, creatures from middle earth transforming into what appears to be earthlings, all the way over the ledge with the 9/11 conspiracies. We do have our share of fruitcakes, nuts, fools, idiots, and retarded rodeo clowns, BUT that number, of the whole, is insignificant statistically. 1% or 2% of a population at any given time is irrelevant as to what their opinions are and we tend, generally, as Americans, to be middle-of-the-roaders (not to be mistaken for middle -earthers although the US is or could be in the middle of the earth depending on ones perspective. The number of fools and idiots, nuts, and fruitcakes who believe the nonsense listed above are deserving of a strong suggestion that they not reproduce, for all our sakes.
That is generally how Americans regard idiocy.
Then we have the flavorful retarded rodeo clowns who run around screaming and hissing about repairing American relations around the world. One presidential candidate said they would immediately send two former presidents on a round-the-world tour to tell the world we are back (and open for business I presume) and work very hard to repair relations with all the nations of the world that have, for seven or eight years been trampled upon. One of those candidates suggested that we "U.S divert aid away from its military to social welfare programs."
Hmmm. The fool who should never be permitted near senate hearings and especially not near the WH again knows full well what I will explicate in the following sentences in an especially humorous fictional dialogue: Her: Yes, Mushie, we are a bit concerned about your stance on human rights and murder so the money we normally send to you we want spent on social programs only or we won't send it to you. Do you accept this condition? Mushie: We of course will do whatever your majesty thinks we should because we wish to rebuild relations and telling us, placing conditions on things is the most naturally friendly thing one friend can do to another.
Mushie then calls his aide in to the office. Mushie: Aide, How much do we get from the US now? Aide: Give or take, nearly three quarters of a billion. How much is military? Aide: About 1/2. So - the government / military recruit someone, maybe a retarded rodeo clown who believes he is saving Pakistan, shoots Bhutto twice, misses once, then detonates a bomb on his body. The bomb has the effect of leaving no evidence, given the twenty or so people whose DNA is spread all over the area mixed with the killers DNA. Given who it is looking into this murder, they will never figure out what DNA even is let alone who belongs to what DNA.

Leave it to the English
The cover page of the Daily Mirror (http://www.mirror.co.uk/) from January 21, 2005, Friday is quite interesting on several levels.
3 stories on the front page. And before anyone suggests the Daily Mirror is a tabloid/rag, forget it, I am aware, but it is also one of the most read papers in England so forget whether it is quality stuff, that ain't the point.
Story 1, far left column - something about Jennifer Aniston - Is the Strain getting to Jen. I don't care if she is stressed.
Story 2, the major story along the top of the page (above the fold) - Mr Un-Credible ... and Bush is still on the warpath.
I suppose I should look up the news of the day to find out what they may be refering to, but given the fact there is no credibility issue, if one is intellectually honest and not a beacon for retarded rodeo clowns.
The third article - Drink Drive Girl, 12 ... and her family don't care. The story goes - A girl of 12 was nearly twice the drink limit when she was stopped at the wheel of her father's car.
The English prefer their stories tainted by politics to dealing with what I would consider a far more serious issue for them - their social system is collapsing. And before you jump around like stupid from the stupid tree, I understand one case does not a social collapse make else the US would implode for we have Jerry Springer and his band of retarded rodeo clowns. No, it is a more serious issue for the English - girls at 14/15 who have had more than a dozen abortions and the state (county government) is more concerned with STDs than with an issue that slaps them everytime they turn around.
No, they have some very serious issues and they would prefer to play up idiotic nonsense with such witless commentary as Mr Un-Credible.
It is their choice, but then when they fail and someone is called to pull their butts out of the oven, again, why should we. What you witless wonders will accomplish with all this bashing of yours is not a regime change (made you smile) but a very defiant attitude to never help you again, when the time comes, and bank on it, it will come.
