"In Ohio recently, when Joe Biden said 'not here' about building coal-fired power plants -- this is exactly what will happen," Hamilton said. "Financing won't be directed here. It will all go aboard for plants elsewhere in the world. The United Sates is importing more coal today from Indonesia, South Africa and Colombia than we ever have."If we're going to create a situation where coal-fired power plants are at that much of a disadvantage, there will be new ones built. But as Biden said, just not here."
40,000 jobs lost; hundreds of millions in revenues, taxes, and fees paid - lost.
Very simply, and not dealing with this too deeply, that will be up to the people to decide on Tuesday ...
- why do you not want coal plants here?
answer: they pollute and destroy the environment
So - Biden and Obama's plan - send the coal plants elsewhere - and that will do exactly what?
- pollute the world somewhere else, where they do not have the technology to protect the environment, or clean up the mess.
- create jobs elsewhere
- make us further dependent upon foreign products
- feed the opposition in those countries with a cause - it isn't good enough for Americans and they want to pollute someone elses backyard.
That animus will not engender friendship. It creates hatred.
The attitude Biden and Obama have is as arrogant as any they claim Bush has - or more, and what is worse - they claim to be different.
They are the same, without a purpose!

Obama: Campaign Tentposts 3
- Fuels
Obama audio interview to the San Francisco Chronicle.
He will bankrupt the coal industry, even while his statements during the election are - he will consider every option.
Possibly it is true - until he is elected, and then he will create a trading system for polluters and coal producers will be unable to financially afford to pay the fees levied and they will go out of business.
He is naive and foolish.
He is bad for the economy, bad for the nation, bad for our security, bad for the world.

China and Coal
According to News.com.au, China is down to 12 days worth of coal. It has 12 days worth of consumption, three days less than a month ago - that according to Chinese state media.
China relies on coal for about 70% of its energy demand.
On several levels that is so bad.
Coal is MUCH worse than gasoline on the environment.
All the thousands who work in the coal mines and or shoveling it ... many without masks.
But with a population of 1.3 billion - China doesn't care.
