The House, defeated legislation to fund the war in Iraq for another year.
Yeah, Yippee. I can hear the cheers now.
Wait, wait, there is more ...
It is a symbolic move.
The bill will move to the senate where they will put the money back in and it will return to the House which will approve it.
Yep. The Congress elected in 2006 to trounce Bush every chance they get, have given him pretty much everything he has asked for - minus voting on judicial nominees. A lot to respect.
