So Now You Get Mad

The left have finally assembled and have started to spew out their idiotic ramblings.  Funny, it is - to see a bumper sticker: Too Informed to Vote Republican.  True - anyone who expects anything from Retardicans is clearly a bit utopian in their outlook, but to say you are too informed to vote Republican, is pretty clear - were it not for the fact you know more than the average person, you too would be just as danged stupid and vote Republican.  Judge much?

In any case, the following was received from a friend -

SO NOW YOU GET MAD !

We had eight years of Bush and Cheney, but now you get mad!
(And this means what - we had eight years of Clinton and .... non-sequitor)

You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.

(And that is because the Supreme Court knows a little, tiny, infinitesimal bit more about Constitutional matters than you and your pee sized brain and THEY decided to stop it.  EVEN if they had not, EVERY major news service that did their OWN recount, had Bush winning when the RECOUNT involved EVERY county and not just hand selected ones (unfair) Gore wanted.  Again, you make a claim and it goes nowhere.)

You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.

(Sort of like the hundreds of secret meetings Biden has had - all secret, all off the record, none made available as to who was in attendance and what was said.  You assume at these energy meetings something was said ... and I assume at the meetings with Biden, something was said - no, I don't assume, I know that someone said something in large part because Biden simply cannot ever shut up.  He is the Rodney Dangerfield of this administration, and worse, he knows it.)

You didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got ousted.

(She was not an operative.  She was a two-bit hack who, along with the husband, was trying to break into political circles - NOT intelligence circles.  Of course you are not at all concerned about bringing to trial, many CIA operatives who served this country - just like Valerie, only they rolled around with real bad guys, not just political types.)

You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.

(And exactly how many people have been persecuted, or I mean, prosecuted using the Patriot Act?  Can you count on ONE HAND?  And that illegal act of course is now gone isn't it?  And the current administration is not trying to read your emails without wiretap, nor are they trying to get into your bank accounts without your permission, nor are they trying to access your computers without your permission ... I think you used up all your steam and ran out when it got really bad.)

You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.

(It was not illegal.  The United Nations is the determining body on that - international law - and we were in full compliance with international law.  Illegal is not something you get to decide when you are sitting around in all your glory.  Sorry - the UN determines and the UN determined, it was within their boundaries.  Not that we give the UN much credence given its record on human rights abuses - but you brought them up.)

You didn't get mad when we spent over 600 billion (and counting) on said illegal war.

(Not illegal, but yes we did spend it and didn't get any free oil out of it.  In fact, we still aren't getting much oil - as you will recall, your complaint in 2003 was NO WAR FOR OIL.  Thus far, no oil.  Not very fair.  Oh, and by the way, your buddy Obama - STILL ENGAGED IN THAT ILLEGAL WAR, despite his promise to end it by now.)

You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.

(Disappeared?  Youmean as in Houdini, vanished?  I believe you used the incorrect term.  In any case, we could make it back if we simply didn't hand over the billions to Senators for their vote.  And where exactly did that $10 billion supposed dollars go?  Be very specific, I want names.  The problem, before you begin your ... endeavor, is futile, and you know it.  So much easier throwing out the claim, but it is not as easy backing it up.  Nothing simply disappears.)

You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people.

(Nope.  I have no problem with torture, and support those who do, even if it saves miserable lives like your own. )

You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.

(No, but then again, they are still, and have made an even more impassioned argument for more authority to do more wiretapping.  Of course they won't wiretap extremist Muslims, but then again, for this administration, extremist Muslims are not a problem - it's the rest of us that are.)

You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden.

(He has had nearly two years, and how is that going?  Bush had 7.  Obama better do it quickly, time will be tick tick ticking away before he gets to 4.)

You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.

(Nor did I get mad when the current occupant refused to wear the lapel pin, didn't hold his hand to his heart for the star spangled banner, and in fact, didn't even say the national anthem.  I didn't get mad when his wife said she wasn't proud of America.  I didn't get mad when Obama cut NASA, I did't get mad when Obama slighted the military or restructured their benefits so as to save money on unused amounts over shorter periods of time - in effect, cutting their benefits.  And by the way, when the conditions at Walter Reed were made public, everything changed - people were fired, conditions were improved, and people did get mad.  It was only people like you who didn't care.)

You didn't get mad when we let a major US city drown.

(And why didn't the US get to Haiti faster than it did?  It was more than a week before US aid was on the ground?  Why?  Haiti is not much further than New Orleans.  Why has it taken so long to help those people?  Why?  Why is it ok to ignore the millions in Haiti or the Dominican Republic, but you have to rush rush down to New Orleans - doesn't matter if all you do is wait - you had to be there the day before.  So, why???  I demand an answer before you open your mouth about things you know nothing about, but parrot from others equally as ignorant.  Do you know what federalism means?  Who is the head of a state?  Who is the boss of a state?  Who makes the decisions in a state?  And under WHAT CONDITIONS can a president or the federal government intervene?  Now, go find those answers and when you do, remove the shoe, and swallow the soap.)

You didn't get mad when we gave a 900 billion tax break to the rich.

(Which tax break.  There were so many.  But as I recall this was in 2002-2005 time period, right around when we saw un employment at the lowest levels in forty years.  And unlike New Jersey, it was not because the government was hiring everyone.)

You didn't get mad when, using reconciliation; a trillion dollars of our tax dollars was redirected to insurance companies for Medicare Advantage which cost over 20 percent more for basically the same services that Medicare provides.

(Nor did I get mad when hundreds of millions were redirected to your congressman and your Senator for their pet projects, totally nearly 10 billion.  By the way, it wasn't a trillion dollars.  Your numbers are off, considerably.  However, because I know the origion of the trillion dollar claim, it is easy enough to see where all this rubbish has floated down from.)

You didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark, and our debt hit the thirteen trillion dollar mark.

(Ooooh  - wrong number.  Bush started with $5 trillion plus.  He ended with $10 trillion plus.  Obama has added $2 trillion plus thus far.  Get the numbers straight.)

You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America

deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick.

(Oh me oh my oh you pathetic idiot.  NO person living in the US was denied the ability of emergency medical care.  Not a single person.  No child (16 and under) was denied medical care for lack of money - not one.  And of over 300 million people, more than 270 million could go and see a doctor anytime they wanted.  And so, because 30 million couldn't, you would saddle the rest with trillions in debt, and a socialist system that will not, and can not work because you feel bad.)

Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you, but helping other Americans.. oh hell no.

AND NOW YOU'RE MAD!

(Yep. and so are more than 55% of the voters of this country.  I would say Americans but hey, we are not all Americans are we.)
