Immigration: It is still too restrictive!

Larry King is ending his reign as the fluff king of CNN.  Those down feather interviews will end when he takes his final bow.  To replace him, CNN has enlisted one Piers Morgan, a citizen of the UK.  To work in the US, one needs a 'special visa' ...

As a British citizen, Morgan needs a special visa that will allow him to work full-time in the US -- and those types of visas are increasingly difficult to get, according to lawyers who specialize in the field.

In general, the process "has gotten much slower in the past year" as the federal government tightens paperwork requirements for immigrants, says one attorney.

Unless you are from, say, Mexico ... in which case, the government relaxes the standards.  No wonder - we don't need any more educated, white, English speaking, wealthy males in the US.  We need a lot more workers.
