Obama: We won, nah nah nah nah, stop bothering me.

Mr. Gibbs, you suggest the election was a repudiation of Bush policies and you are wrong. It had little to do with that, although 46% were repudiating his policies just as they had 4 years before and 4 years before that. The difference is the other 10-15% - were not repudiating Bush so much as some of them believed in the delusion of change that was promised and has not materialized, some did not like McCain, and others wanted Obama elected so everything would be wrecked thus allowing for a return of Conservative Republicans and not the Arlen Specter types. That Mr. Gibbs will account for the vote - not a repudiation of Bush per se.

You are not telling the truth, which is unfortunate.

Responding to criticism from former President George W. Bush, White House press secretary
Robert Gibbs said President Obama's victory last year was a repudiation of Bush's policies.

In a speech this week, Bush came off the sidelines for the first time since the beginning of the Obama administration to lob criticisms at Obama for his economic policies and his decision to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Gibbs said Thursday that many of those policies were debated during last year's election."We kept score last November, and we won," Gibbs said.Gibbs noted that the Bush administration transferred "hundreds" of detainees from the facility at Guantanamo Bay.
