Open Letter to Retardicans

I would write a letter to the Losercrats, but they can't read - so to make it equal, I'll toss in something they will be able to read (nice simple words) and understandable without the use of their brain: Yes to Change!!

To the retardicans, who unfortunately can read.

I will begin with the simplest and easiest for you to understand -

- your belief in human dignity and morality, is right.
- your belief in who it is that makes this country work and how it works, is right.
- your understanding of good and evil in the world, is right.

In sum, your philosophy is the correct and right philosophy.

Ronald Reagan did change things, for you and for the country. He brought us out of a morass and helped us to believe we could be stronger. He changed the social welfare system - and it was never able to return to pre-Reagan days. He made Democrats think differently. Mainly, he made us think again - that we were all Americans and it wasn't us against us, it was them against us and he intended to stand up to them, even if others had failed us.

He understood that accommodation was a tool of the left and they had since the mid to late 60s believed in accommodation - hug the Soviets, hug the criminals, hug and it will all be better - after all, we all love our children and no one wants to see their children incinerated in a mushroom cloud. Sting went so far as to make the accomodationist song for the liberals of the 80s implying they loved their children too. Accomodationists wanted to sit down with the criminals and find out why they were criminals - if only we talked enough; we could all come to a meeting of the minds. In criminal law and in world affairs - talk and discuss, compromise, accommodate - and we can all get what we want. For liberals, the pie is never a set size and neither is the earth - we simply cut it differently to accommodate everyone.

Reagan understood the nonsense of that foolishness. One thing has nothing to do with the other. He understood but he did compromise. That is perhaps where retardicans lose their brain functionality - he brought Bush in as VP (Voodoo economics), Shultz - who while in agreement on a whole range of issues was socially quite liberal. He accommodated up to a point - that point being the security of the American people and the free world. He was not interested in cutting the pie differently for the Soviets. His fiscally conservative nature didn't hit until the end. He spent us into trillions in debt thus following the Democratic Keynesian philosophy of spending us out of whatever ails us (in this case - a cold war). His spending was never under control - unless you refer to his spending on domestic programs and toward the end of his terms. At that time he seemed to understand the need to balance things - before, it was always a matter of them accepting his cuts to permit expansion of funding for other programs. He promised to rid us of the department of education and failed to do so. He promised to protect life and permitted the greatest expansion of abortion procedures.

So where is this ultra-conservative Reagan you retardicans believe existed - this ideal you compare all Republicans against. Who is he, where is he? He exists in your minds only. The Ronald Reagan that governed and led us out of the worst bloody morass since the death of Kennedy, was practical. He had 4-5 issues he was interested in and little interest in anything more. He focused on 4-5 points with the main one being the Soviets. He focused on tax cuts that eventually - after turnaround time in the economy and in tax collection, resulted in a massive windfall for the federal government resulting in unemployment that was lower than during the previous decades.

The Reagan who saved us, led us, believed in an America that was not beholden to anyone, nor was the footstool for any nation or group of states, that Reagan believed in the superiority of America, the greatness of this country and our unstoppable desire to be better and greater. He gave us hope, but not foolish mindless hope, he identified what needed to be done and led us to the goal posts.

Retardicans today are so obsessed with a ghost that was never real they have divided a party and weakened it with their holier than thou - Reagan wouldn't approve bullshit. The conservative movement exists in your head and the heads of 10 million other people - period. You and the ten million will never win an election if God intervened and smited the other 290 million. That is why you are retardicans.

Choose 1-2 issues, like Reagan, and focus on them - the most important issues of our time. I will suggest that one of them is al-Qaida and the second is whatever else you would like to add, except immigration, for it was Reagan who allowed millions to take the path to citizenship, much the same path that McCain first argued. Immigration is an issue - if we cannot control our borders, if we allow illegals in and every 20 years give them citizenship, what have we become and what will we be tomorrow and next year.

The main issue - al-qaida, terrorism, islamo-fascism -- the Soviet menace X 10.

They threaten the stability of the world - they undermine Pakistan with nuclear weapons, seek to empower Arab states to get their own nuclear weapons, seek to threaten and contain the US while they spread their message of death.

This issue is the single most important we face. If we fail at that, we fail our children, grand children, great grandchildren, Christianity, and western civilization. Economics and immigration will mean little when we are wearing veils and turbans and praying toward Mecca.

I understand Retardicans believe they must adhere to a deep philosophical principle - phooey. Reagan stuck to his couple and worked with the rest. For us, it must be Al-Qaida and Islamo-fascism. For the consequence of failure must never be imagined for its horror is greater than any bootstrapped, goose-stepping, Kremlin supporting nightmare from the 80s and yet, we have the 80s today - the same accomodationists argue today against our war on Islamo-fascists. They urge us to be tolerant and patient and listen and talk and compromise. We must not, we cannot, we will not ever. Reagan would never and we must never give ground and we must do so not for Reagan for he is long gone, but for the future, for our great grand children, for the world. We must never allow one inch, never compromise, never settle, never surrender one centimeter to them.

If a Democrat is elected, we will have surrendered more than an inch and the Democrat would within four years surrender vast swaths of territory to Islamo-fascists around the world. The tens of thousands who have died since September 11 in this ongoing generational war, will have been in vain when we turn over regions and countries to them - by whatever term or word or label we give, it will be the same.

Retardicans do not realize how serious the war is - their principles cannot be protected by a Republican minority in Congress and that is exactly what you will get. It won't be 50/50, it'll be 70-60% for Democrats and 30-40% for Republicans. You will lose everything you have fought for, however marginal, for eight years. Wiped away in the first 100 days and then the assault on everything else and no, there will be no Republican resurrection in 2010 and in 2012. The issue of abortion or fiscal conservativism, budgetary constraints and whatever else - all will be washed away for another twelve years. In 2012, it would again be that same Democrat for we tend to re-elect our president unless everything is miserable and while some things would be the response by that person would be - it took eight years to get in the mess we're in, it'll take 10 to get out. We tend to give them the benefit of the doubt and Obama would be given that benefit. Hillary, possibly not, but still likely, given the fact she would cry and pout and blame the right-wing conspiracy for her ills.

Beat them now or wait 12 years. We cannot wait 12 years - Bin Laden and his ilk pray for a Democrat to manipulate and weaken, to humiliate and laugh at, to mock and then attack. They are evil and their designs are evil. They hate us and despite what academics may say - they really do hate us and everything about us from our religion to how we live. The irony is we oppose Islamo-fascists and in so doing, the three thousand plus Americans who have died, have died to allow the Democrats the opportunity to oppose our actions abroad. These killers in al-qaida will not allow dissent yet Democrats have confused freedom and liberalism, hope, opportunity, with Democracy and responsibility. They would weaken us and will weaken us. If al-qaida and the Islamo-fascists hate anything more than Americans generally, they hate weakness and would use it against us, calling the world Muslims to rise up at a moment we appear weakest. We cannot and must not allow a Democrat to win in November. Every ounce of energy and every dollar must go to ensuring victory. We cannot afford to lose; the world again depends on us.
