Rendell: Obama is now 'greatest' U.S. politician

Rendell, who often accused reporters of having "drunk the Obama Kool-Aid" during the campaign, said an Obama supporter brought a canister of Kool-Aid with an Obama sign on it to a Rendell event earlier this week.
"I drank it on Monday," a grinning Rendell said, "so from now on Senator Obama is the greatest American politician ever to live."
Mayor Nutter also attended the event, as did Clinton national finance co-chair Mark Aronchick, who said not all Clinton backers are ready to cheer for Obama yet.
"Some people need a little more time," Aronchick said, "but we have to get a Democrat elected."
Obama spoke at a dinner fundraiser for about 75 big donors to the Democratic National Committee, and at a dessert party for several hundred making more modest contributions to his own campaign fund.
He'll speak at an invitation-only town-hall meeting this morning in Montgomery County. The campaign has not released the location. *

But what happened to Bill? Wasn't he the greatest? he also tried to model himself after Kennedy - remember the photo of he and JFK. How soon they forget and abandon. Hart, Mondale, Kerry ... has beens.
Some people need more time - what, so the pod can hatch and they can be taken over before they finally realize he is the Democrat's messiah? For a party that avoids religion like the plague, they have created their own religion - Obamessiah.
