Do like they do in India

India will never overtake the US until it addresses an epidemic of poverty and unemployment. until people are able to apply for positions based upon merit, not sheer numbers. It is a system that, based upon population, cannot ever move into First World class. With eight hundred million more people than jobs, the ingenious, yet top-heavy system simply creates thirty jobs for every one job we have in America.

We hire a receptionist, secretary, and an assistant.

In India, they will hire:

1)the receptionist
a) an assistant to the receptionist
b) a receptionist to fill in when the regular receptionist is gone
c) an assistant to help when either the assistant or the part time receptionist is away

2) Someone to open the door
a) Someone to open the door when the primary door opener is not around
b) A part time person to assist opening doors when the other person is on lunch

3)the secretary
a)the assistant to the secretary
b) a secretary to fill in when the regular person is away
c) an assistant to help when either the assistant or the part time secretary is away or at lunch

4) The assistant
a) An assistant to the assistant
b) An assistant for the assistant when he is on vacation or sick
c) an assistant for time when assistant is at lunch.


5) Coffee, Biscuit, Cookie Server
a) Assistant to the official Coffee, Biscuit, Cookie Server (CBCS)
b) Part time fill in for the CBCS.
c) general all around helper to fill in when the CBCS is on lunch


6) Light Turner On Person
a) Light Turner On Person FT
b) Light Turner On Person PT
c) Fill in person for Light Turner On
d) Light Turner On person for vacations

7) Trasher Collector for the office
a) PT Person to collect trash
b) PT person to collect trash
c) person to fill in for PT Person who collects trash

8) Office Manager
a) Assistant to the Office manager
b) assistant to the Assistant to the Office Manager
c) Fill in office manager
d) Assistant who fills in for the either A or B when they are out
e) The helper to any of the A, B, C, or D


We do with 3 what they need 34 to do (and I may have understated how many they hire).

Jobs are occasionally inherited. Jobs are also passed on through death - due to compassion.

It is a system that cannot work to propel the country into second tier status let alone first tier, regardless of contrary arguments.
