LET’S MECCA DEAL
The mosque money trail has taken another strange turn. The original owners of 45-47 Park Place mysteriously walked away from an $18 million cash offer for their damaged Ground Zero building in 2007, only to accept $4.8 million 18 months later from mosque developer Sharif El-Gamal. El-Gamal also happened to give the building owner’s son a job. The original owners of the Ground Zero mosque site mysteriously spurned dozens of higher bids before selling the prime downtown real estate at a bargain-basement price.
The Pomerantz family, which had owned the building since the late 1960s and fielded offers after the patriarch died in 2006, rejected at least one bid that was nearly four times what prospective mosque builder Sharif ElGamal eventually paid, The Post has learned.
El-Gamal did offer what could be viewed as a sweetener to his $4.8 million bid in July 2009 — a job as a property manager for a son of the family, Sethian Pomerantz.
New York developer Kevin Glodek was livid when he found out the building sold for a fraction of what he offered in 2007 — $18 million cash — and wondered whether money changed hands under the table, according to sources close to the deal.
Glodek and his partners wanted to build a 60-story condo tower with retail space on the Park Place site, had inked a purchase agreement and even had keys to the existing building, according to sources and documents obtained by The Post.
But Kukiko Mitani — whose late husband, Stephen Pomerantz, owned the property — and her brother-in-law, Melvin Pomerantz, a trustee to the estate, went silent at the end of 2007 and Glodek’s deal disappeared, sources said.
Glodek, who owns the ChefsDiet food delivery service and several Manhattan properties, declined to comment.
The property is now at the heart of one of the most divisive issues in the country — whether it should be the location of a $100 million mosque and community center. The location two blocks from Ground Zero has been called insensitive, and questions have been raised about whether extremists will help fund the project. Recent polls show that 70 percent of New Yorkers want it moved.

Frenchmen: Some are dense as rock hard stupid
One of these individuals is Thierry Meyssan.
Monsieur Meyssan: il est un des etres humains les plus muets vivants!!
Why?
He believes 9/11 was carried out by the US government.
He wrote a book, the name of which I cannot recall - best seller in France and the Palestinian areas, picked up by Arab scholars as evidence, then incorporated into their arguments of hate against the West, forgetting to cite Meyssan, leading their minions to believe it crept out of their sick minds, lending it even more credibility.
Up there with world peace on my list of ideals / wishes / dreams ... is my fondest hope that people like Meyssan find themselves in a) SAW, b) Hostel, c) Tourista, d) a lions cage with a lion that has not been fed in a month. I could phrase my wish differently, but honestly, I wish this for people like Meyssan. Further, I wish their families and all people who know them get sucked into a giant vortex to another dimension just as a thermonuclear blast obliterates the other dimension. Why? The kind of stupid meyssan defines, needs to be eradicated. All DNA and genes and possible spread of his stupidity (and all those like him) needs to be erased. I fear everyday, that another person gets infected. It is just not worth the chance.

No it wasn't you lunatics. The CIA did have an office, but so bloody what. They probably have an office near you. And that means what. The building was 20-28% destroyed by debris. It made the building unstable. END of story. And even if the building owner had insurance - so what if he committed fraud by convincing the authorities his building was unstable if it wasn't. SO WHAT. It is unrelated to anything and is a non-starter.
3) The Eisenhower Building – Hit by a Missile
NO. Big fat lie. LIE. LIE. LIE.
4) Law Requiring Pilots to Carry Arms Repealed Just Before 9/11
Yes, and I am sure that a week before 9/11, a flight attendant on one of the planes mentioned to their family members that they were afraid a plane might crash - I suppose that means they were in on it. SO WHAT. Well, had they carried a gun they could have ... NO YOU DUMB SHIT. THE RULES WERE agree to whatever hijackers want. ALWAYS HAD BEEN THE RULE.
5) "When the U.S. president travels around a large country like America, halls are prepared along his route, equipped with means of communications, such as telephones, videos, and so on, so he can talk to his joint command, his residence, and with the White House, without fear of being tapped. Such a hall was prepared at the kindergarten. Bush calls Rice and says: 'I have just seen on the secure video-screen that the first plane went into the first tower.' Then he entered the kindergarten, and did not appear to be agitated. Actually, when such incidents occur, the U.S. president immediately says a few words of condolence to the victims' families.

You have been watching too many Bill Clinton re-runs. The US PRESIDENT NEVER speaks until everything is known. they believed the first plane was a small lear jet or private plane of some type. Then he went back to the class, but he was not aware ... T his is the best example of why Bill Clinton and other fools did more to hurt the presidency than anything Nixon did. Now the world thinks the president runs out every time a plane crashes to cry with people, hold their hands and feel their breasts, I mean, pain. It is unbelievable what the media have done to hurt the country in portraying moronic meanders of president's and congress to the world who believe what they see, being the morons that they are.
6) The only way to attack the Pentagon with a flying object is for this object to have the American army's 'friend' code. In fact, the Pentagon was attacked by a U.S. army missile fired by American military personnel.

NO, the plane came in 10-20 feet above ground level. over the highway, over the roofs of more than 30 cars which it crushed as it ran over them, over the cars in the parking lot that were hit and mangled as the plane rushed forward, knocking down light posts and fences. And then the images released - showing the plane entering the building. For Meyssan, facts are just little blips on his path to insanity.
7) No Proof Islamists Were Involved
The fact bin laden has said he did it more than thirteen times. The fact that each and every al qaida member left a video recording of their will stating their intention and desire and why they were doing the deed. That all those video will's were shown on al jazeera and anyone with a TV/DVD recorder has them, to this day (ok, so i don't have ALL of them, just seven, close enough).

In the hours after the attack on New York, I went outside and looked into the skies above Los Angeles and saw thousands of angels who told me the attack was the work of mutants from Middle Earth.
There. Now, I have my own theory and I have as much evidence to support my theory as the retards who follow Meyssan.

You're Fat and you look ugly - that's just my opinion
Should opinions matter? Should they, deep down, matter what other people think or say about us. If we believe in ourselves, if we know that we are a good person, kind, caring, compassionate, reasonably bright, interested, funny ... should it matter what other people think. We have friends, a job, maybe a family, even a dog or cat - should it matter what people think.
We all have a need to be accepted. So long recognized that the psychology for this probably goes back to 10,000 BC. Publicly we tell anyone who will listen that we are not interested and do not care what others think of us. When you give advice to your siblings or friends, you tell them not to care what other people think. Do what is right and ignore the noise on the sidelines. When kids tell you that they are pressured to do W, X, Y, or Z, we tell them not to care what people say about us - to be strong.
Why then do we take all that reasonable and wise instruction and throw it out the window when it becomes: The world's opinion of the US.
Why?
Why does it matter what the world thinks, but not what people who live less than a mile from you think - people that will be within your life for your life, or could be - but people in foreign countries, many who only understand the United States from movies, and or from what their governments tell them they need to know - why do they matter more.
Anytime you want to criticize a president - use all the ammunition you can find. if the world likes him - ignore the world. If they hate him - suddenly it is an imperative we change presidents to restore America's image in the eyes of the world.
Political.
Everything seems to be political. Therefore, nothing is of much use as far as wisdom is concerned - just political wisdom, not real wisdom for the ages.
WORLD OPINION
The survey of 24,717 people is the seventh major study conducted by the Pew Global Attitudes Project since 2002.
A few excerpts from the poll:
Buoyed by world sympathy - interesting, that statement. It was before March 2003, so we were still in Afghanistan only, BUT Bush had already used all his adjectives and adverbs concerning bin Laden - dead or alive, with us or against us - all out there by 2002, with world opinion still with us. Odd that is. To listen to liberals in the US, these statements were divisive - apparently not, according to the poll.
So what changed the attitudes - perhaps because the US didn't fling 75 missiles into Afghanistan, blow up crap and then return home, as had been the pattern the previous 8 years. Perhaps the world expected the US to blow off steam, a certain amount was permitted (blowing up crap) as long as we went home afterward - but we didn't, and that irritated the world. Perhaps that is a big chunk of the cause, followed by our media exploitations of every foible and mistake, criminal action, and legitimate acts. The millions of followers of the extremist views of bin Laden do not have their own media - they use ours (and a couple newer ones in the ME). What they know, they know in large part from us, they hear our news, read our editorials, watch the news programs criticizing Bush - and they regurgitate it when it suits them. They are not creative. They attacked the WTC in 1993 and again 8 years later.
So why do we care what the world thinks. I can name eight countries where human slavery is rampant - where children are sold, where women turned into sex slaves. I can name twelve countries where honor killings occur, every day or nearly every day. I can name two countries where the value of life is minimal - they value the unit, the collective, not the individual and the loss of lives is of less interest policy wise than is the loss of a plane or truck, which would be far more valuable.
So why do we care.
- about half the citizens of Lebanon, Jordan, and Morocco think that suicide attacks on Americans in Iraq are justified.
Why do we care what the world thinks and why the hell should we be apologizing for anything.
To be honest, I am looking for an apology from the world -that I have to watch on TV as people in whatever country starve to death because the government wants their land or water or oil, and denies it is killing them as the world nods its head in agreement. I am tired of looking at pages of stats on the numbers of children kidnapped from Europe and taken to North Africa to be sold into slavery, as the world stands by and nods silently in agreement. I am tired of watching as governments pretend they are doing peaceful nuclear and we all know they are making bombs - and the world stands by watching and nodding. I am sick and tired of the mindless fools who shit themselves over global warming yet watch and nod in agreement as a million are butchered in some African country, or tens of thousands are imprisoned in some Asian country. I want an apology from them, after which we can consider apologizing to the world for whatever they feel slighted over.
Perhaps it was little more than jealousy and envy that turned them away from the US. The majority, while not liking the US government, all want to live here. perhaps it is something as simple as caring what other people think because they will get jealous if they see you are living well, free of disease, ample food, traveling, movies, shopping - all without a care in the world. Perhaps the poll taken implies this when they state that what pushed the world away is American exceptionalism--our individualism and our go-it-alone attitude. And it doesn't help that Americans' pervasive religiosity and deep patriotism are often exaggerated by America's critics.
I don't care what they think and it has nothing to do with believing we don't live in the same world and need trade and exchange - they need what we have and we will buy what they have. How they feel about us is immaterial.

Iran, Ahmadinejad, WTC AND Obama
(The source of this article has been trustworthy on many issues, but to give Amadinejad the benefit of the doubt, he did wish to visit the WTC site and did so to recognize the event of September 11. It is curious how he would flip flop so publicly on such an issue. He went on to ask why the US had never released the names of the thousands of dead in the Trade Center attacks and how the most advanced security, intelligence and tracking devices in the world had failed to detect the hijackers’ planes before they struck the two New York towers.
Ahmadinejad is famous also for denying the Nazi Holocaust.
Announcing earlier that Iran had begun installing 6,000 new advanced (P2) centrifuges for uranium enrichment at Natanz, the Iranian president claimed his country’s nuclear program had passed the point of no-return technologically and politically.
America is disintegrating politically, militarily and economically, according to Ahmadinejad, who boasted that Iran’s nuclear achievement is a turning-point in history that will change the international order prevailing since World War II.
He asked why everyone jumps on Iran’s nuclear program when “a band of international pirates has stores crammed with nuclear bombs.” By going full steam ahead with uranium enrichment, Iran is flouting three UN Security Council resolutions and standing fast against threats, sanctions and incentives offered by the West to halt a process capable of producing nuclear weapons.
Instead, Tehran is installing a new generation of advanced P2 centrifuges to replace the older P-1 machines and accelerate enrichment. He claims they are five times cheaper than the commercial machines.
The five Security Council members and Germany meet later this month for their umpteenth discussion on Iran’s nuclear activities. However, aside from “sweetening” their incentives package and tighter sanctions, they have run out of ideas for curbing Iran’s rapidly-advancing nuclear plans.

Announcing earlier that Iran had begun installing 6,000 new advanced (P2) centrifuges for uranium enrichment at Natanz, the Iranian president claimed his country’s nuclear program had passed the point of no-return technologically and politically.
America is disintegrating politically, militarily and economically, according to Ahmadinejad, who boasted that Iran’s nuclear achievement is a turning-point in history that will change the international order prevailing since World War II.
He asked why everyone jumps on Iran’s nuclear program when “a band of international pirates has stores crammed with nuclear bombs.” By going full steam ahead with uranium enrichment, Iran is flouting three UN Security Council resolutions and standing fast against threats, sanctions and incentives offered by the West to halt a process capable of producing nuclear weapons.
Instead, Tehran is installing a new generation of advanced P2 centrifuges to replace the older P-1 machines and accelerate enrichment. He claims they are five times cheaper than the commercial machines.
The five Security Council members and Germany meet later this month for their umpteenth discussion on Iran’s nuclear activities. However, aside from “sweetening” their incentives package and tighter sanctions, they have run out of ideas for curbing Iran’s rapidly-advancing nuclear plans.
