Man sentenced to six years for four rapes

The Örebro district court has sentenced a 28-year-old man to six-and-a-half years in prison for raping four women.
The rapes were to have occurred after the women were rendered helpless due to alcohol intake and suspected drugging, reported Nerikes Allehanda newspaper. Tramadol, a pharmaceutical similar to morphine, was found in the system of one of the women following the attack.
The man claims that the women consented to intercourse and denies all of the rapes except for one, which was filmed. The district court found the women's testimonies to be credible and followed the prosecutor's sentence recommendation, which was presented on Monday.
