BAGHDAD - A suicide bomber dressed in a woman's robe detonated explosives Sunday in a heavily guarded Sunni area of Baghdad, killing the deputy leader of the neighborhood's U.S.-backed security volunteers who had turned against al-Qaida, Iraqi officials said.
The reason, the single reason, we cannot in one massive military assault defeat 'them'.
Our military have the skill, training, we have the man-power, we have the ability regardless of what some in Congress think or say publicly. Yet, what we do not do - is kill innocents.
Do innocents die? Yes. It is a bloody war and innocent people will die, that is what war is.
Do Americans purposely target civilians?
Absolutely NOT. If we did, they would NOT dress up like women, because doing so would not afford them an advantage.
They hide and run away and use women's clothing, or children as cover. They are cowards and only wish innocents to die, because in their twisted world - if Americans kill the innocents, they win; if the Americans do not kill the innocents, the Americans die. Win win for them.
If they came out to play on a battlefield - we would obliterate them. They prefer to hide behind women, in Mosques, and schools, in hospitals, and children.
I only wish Americans would and did understand this. It is a single major distinction between us and them, between how we wage war and how they wage war.
