I am waiting for the same outcry we heard over so many place and silly things to be heard over Tibet. (From Times Online. March 18, 2008. 1,000 Tibetans arrested in Chinese crackdown) I just haven't heard it. Those voices found it easy to scream at the US, but find little use in screaming about the Chinese. Where is the moral authority from Mr. Koucher (French foreign minister)? Where is the moral outrage.
You see people, if you do not get upset when real moral outrages occur, your hysterical screaming over actions by the US are suspect. Now, no one will tell yopu that because everyone gains. The Chinese gain as they use it for evidence when the US questions them. Al Qaida will not complian as they will use it as evidence against the US. Russia will not complain as they will use it for evidence when the US criticizes it. The hysterical mindless screechings of a few have undermined American power and foreign policy. Amazing. Yet they are silent on moral issues like Tibet. Hypocritical - AT BEST.
