China has its own terrorists

And I don't mean just the Chinese government.

Air crew foils terrorist attempt to crash Chinese air liner

The Chinese Southern flight originated in Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang, which is home to 8 million Muslim Uighurs – some, according to DEBKAfile with ties to al Qaeda. The plane made an emergency landing at Lanzhou Friday, March 8, en route for Beijing, and two passengers were taken into custody.
Details are sketchy but one source in the Chinese capital reported that inflammable material was found in the plane’s toilet.
On Jan. 27 Chinese forces killed 18 people described as terrorists in a gun-battle in what was described as a training camp in the Pamir mountains of southern Xinjiang. One policeman was killed. A senior Chinese official has warned that Uighurs are plotting attacks to disrupt the Beijing Olympics.
