Mr. Obama is acting as if he is still campaigning. In some ways he probably still is - trying to salvage what remains of his presidency. Tuesday, November 3, may well have been the high mark, the apex of his power - and we may well begin to see a decline, first within his own party, as they distance themselves from a man they believed was their messiah, to what may well be a pariah, or for those who refuse to distance themselves, an albatross.
Why? It does not take a brain to realize that Democrats are trying to grasp at whatever straws they have - which is few and not many whole bits. No different than Retardicans who up through the election and after spoke of values and establishing and reestablishing values all the while they were pushed further into the desert where their values held no meaning and the electorate couldn't hear them.
What happened on Tuesday had little to do with the Retardican party and more to do with NO MORE OBAMA.
The experts say that the numbers who voted is MORE than in an off year. Unusual. But there was a drop in some voters - who were they? People who voted for Obama. So why would they not return to the polls to ensure a strong party around the country to help their messiah push his plan forward? Why.
In 2005, the Bob McDonnel and Creigh Deeds ran against one another for the job of Attorney General. By a vote count of less than 330, McDonnell won.
Slim. Slim. Verrry slim.
A re-vote for the two - this time for the position of Governor of the State.
Obama visited, the national Democratic Party dumped money and manpower, the state Democratic Party dumped money and manpower - and with the Messiah invoking all the clever words and ideas and clichés he could muster to get the vote out for Deeds, McDonnell won, again.
This time he won by 58% to 41% ... OVER 300,000 votes. In a state that went 53% to 46% for Obama, over 200,000 more votes for Obama ... the state flipped, and it went for McDonnell.
Democrats will say the base stayed home. That is even worse to use as a defense than they were massacred in the voting booth ... their base? The invigorated base, the base Obama counts on to keep the Congress Democratic in 2010 just abandoned him? Why would they? Should we open up the can of worms that is New Jersey?
New Jersey - a state controlled by the Democrats from the top down to the dog catcher ... elected a Republican, even though Corzzine spent $30 million to try to hold onto the seat. What happened to everyone in new Jersey - not interested in helping out Obama by re-electing Corzine? Why not, the Messiah went to New Jersey, Biden went to New Jersey ... How did this happen and how terrified are 45-60 Democrats in the House that their seats may simply flip no matter what they do between now and November!!
And you know you were watching on Tuesday night - even if your press secretary said you were not. We know you were - your ego wouldn't let you not. That is one difference between you and your predecessor - he was not an egotistical pompous ass. The problem is - even though you watched MSNBC Tuesday night, you were not learning from your mistakes. Instead, you have ignored the mistakes and in Wisconsin you proved you didn't learn.
My theory and it is not a novel idea - the American people did not vote for Barrack Obama the Socialist or Marxist. They voted against Bush, they voted against the recession, they voted against McCain, and they voted for the first black to be president.
And in the 9 months they have watched as Obama marched off the left side of the page and away from their values. They do not approve of his policies. They do not approve of the course he has set. And in 12 months, the Congress will no longer be dominated by Losercrats - Retardicans will take control and will challenge Obama on everything - if they are bright enough to figure out they can do that.
Obama does not get it - he went off to Wisconsin and gave a speech in which he said that the country "had record deficits, two wars, frayed alliances around the world." It is all Bush's fault. The Blame Game. That was something the American people didn't appreciate. Stand up and accept responsibility. Be transparent ALL the time, not just when it suits you. Obama can't. His ego will not allow him.
Record deficit? OMG ... are we in alternate dimensions? He just created a $1.5 trillion deficit ... 1/5 of the entire debt after 8 years of Bush, and that was in his first 8 months. A record deficit? You Mr. Obama have created the condition that will ensure the US becomes one of the world’s leading debtor nations, and weakens our position economically; where other nations will ascend as we descend, and you will be responsible for creating the conditions that will forever keep us in this state. You will be responsible for the bloodshed that follows around the globe from our weakness. Not Bush.
Two wars? Mr. Obama, Afghanistan was a war YOU thought we should engage in, a war most liberals believed was right. Why do you suddenly turn it into a negative. The fact you oppose the US in Afghanistan and would pull us out this second if it didn't affect you chances of being re-elected is pretty clear from your waffling.
Frayed alliances? You mean like India - the Foreign Minister who said that you were climbing up the wrong tree if you thought India was going to sit down with you to discuss Kashmir. You mean Russia - who got you to pull the missile shield out of Eastern Europe on several pretenses and then reneged on two of those promises because they find you wholly unworthy of respect enough to follow through on their promises. You mean like France- who after decades of bad relations, was re-set under Bush, only to have you marginalize Sarkozy - to the point where France is leading the charge to toss the US dollar as a standard currency. He despises you, as you loathe him. You mean like Germany - Merkel. How much time did you give her by the way when she visited the White House this past week. How much time have you spent in 9 months having actual conversations with her? Slim to none, little if any. She knows it as does her government and they don't much care for you. But wait, someone must still be enamored by your rico suave ... Canada? Nope, Harper is hoping you get thrown from the train by Biden or anyone. The Canadian government at this time is not enamored by you in the slightest. The Australian government? Nope. Those Chinese terrorists you told them they would have to take because you were the big bad president - they will not forget that very quickly. No one likes being told what to do Mr. Obama. How about .... hmm ... Honduras? You know, where you personally along with your Ambassador and the US government, interfered in the internal affairs of another country - and they told you to blow smoke up someone elses butt. You didn't like that much and imposed sanctions, revoked visas, kicked out diplomats, interfered with tourism and trade. How about Nicaragua? You know where the president simply usurped the Constitution and had his hand selected Supreme Court change the Constitution ... and you didn't stand up to a man who staged a coup of sorts. The people will remember your contribution. How about Tibet (I am aware Tibet is not a country as China would never permit it to be, but it furthers the point that Obama is damaging relations around the world at a record rate) Oh yes, shhh. Don't want to bother the Chinese until after you see them. Britain - Brown depended on you when he saw you for the first time - he needed US help, and you threw him from the train. His government will never forgive you for what you did and the next government under Cameron, will not be as cordial as you might wish. I won't mention the fraying of relations with Israel either, and a couple others that are neither better nor worse, just ignored. Building relations that were tattered? With who Mr. Obama. NAME ONE, besides Venezuela and Cuba. NAME ONE! It seems to me, you have slowly dismantled relations with many of our allies and have done so within 8 months of being in office. You are a fast worker - when it comes to destroying things.
