Obama to West Point graduates on Saturday, May 22, 2010:
“Yes, we are clear-eyed about the shortfalls of our international system. But America has not succeeded by stepping outside the currents of international cooperation,” he said. “We have succeeded by steering those currents in the direction of liberty and justice — so nations thrive by meeting their responsibilities, and face consequences when they don’t.”
Washington Post, May 23, 2010
And how has that worked for you so far B.H.? Iran is on the verge of possessing or already has nuclear weapons. North Korea has nuclear weapons and every so often threatens the world with destruction if they attempt to hinder their goals. How has that worked for you B.H.? The Taliban - the group you wanted to turn Afghanistan over to - trained and supported the attempted murderer of untold numbers of Americans in New York. How are those consequences working out B.H.?
The world leaders do not like you nor do they respect you, nor are they the slightest bit afraid of you B.H.. I am sorry to burst your bubble if you think they do - Merkle told a German magazine that she didn't trust you. Sarkozy has demonstrated how much he thinks of you by his actions toward NATO and Afghanistan. Canada has shown you the finger, as did Brown, when he had the nerve to actually stand up to you - and Cameron will not be any different. The Pakistani's do not like you, the government of Afghanistan does not like you, the government of India does not like or respect you, and in fact, outside of a few countries I cannot think of at the moment, no one likes or respects you and it is because of you, not Bush.
So how is that working out for you B.H.? Do tell.
