Islam: Will Dominate the World

The people of peace showing the future.

Or will it.

Poitiers, and Constantinople in the 8th century.  Vienna and the 11th century Europe.

Sometimes it is not a good thing to be too cocky.

SET FREE ... TO RANT AGAINST FREEDOM

FIVE Muslim fanatics who called our troops rapists and baby killers were let off with slaps on the wrists yesterday - and strolled out of court to stage ANOTHER ranting protest.

Angry scenes erupted as the group brandished placards reading: "Islam will dominate the world, freedom can go to hell."

Shajjadar Choudhury, 31, yelled: "Embrace yourself for the coming of Islam. The UK will become Islam. We are undeterred."

Choudhury, Munim Abdul, 28, Jalal Ahmed, 21, Yousaf Bashir, 29, and Ziaur Rahman, 32, provoked fury last March when they protested at a homecoming ceremony.

As the 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment marched through Luton, Beds, after serving on the frontline in Iraq and Afghanistan, they waved placards reading "Butchers of Basra" and "Baby killers".

During their six-day trial the defendants refused to stand up when the judge entered or left the courtroom, as is expected as a remark of respect to the court.

They said they only stood for Allah.

District judge Carolyn Mellanby accepted this, but said the defendants should stand when they were addressed by the court - which they complied with.

The five, all from Luton, were convicted of the public order offence of using threatening, abusive or insulting words.

But they were spared time behind bars and instead received a two-year conditional discharge and were ordered to pay £500 legal costs each.

Ibrahim Anderson, 32, and Jubair Ahmed, 19, also from Luton, were found not guilty.

The fanatics immediately staged a protest on the steps of the town's magistrates' court.

Businessman Harold Simkin, 58 - who was caught in the middle of last year's vile demonstration - told The Sun: "This sentence is an insult. These five men turned up to cause trouble.

"They knew local people would react to their sick chants and they did. There was fighting and police had to separate people. Things could have turned out a lot worse, people could have been hurt."

Mr Simkin said: "They are walking the streets free to do the same thing again. If anything, they should be locked up for their own safety. The justice system is a joke."

Lawyers defending the five said they had discussed plans for their homecoming protest with police, agreed to a time and place to do it and complied with cops throughout.

They claimed officers did not object to their slogans. Defence barrister Kyri Argyropoulos said they were entitled to freedom of speech.

Choudhury told the court: "To shout the truth in a street is not an insult. We were highlighting the truth."

COPS are launching a probe after The Sun exposed a fanatics' rally at which ranting cleric Anjem Choudary, 42, appeared with two convicted British terrorists in London.
