I believe most of what Israel says on most subjects.
I believe .01% of what Palestinians say on any subject.
Why? Not because Israel cannot lie, I am quite certain that Israeli policy on many issues is contrary to the best interests of the United States, and that Israel will 'lie' to the US on those specific issues, when confronted. Israel may also lie about its involvement in certain issues.
Is it possible that Israeli soldiers kill people who are innocent - ABSOLUTELY. Do I believe they do so intentionally, as a matter of policy, or even as unofficial conduct - NO.
Do I believe that a small percentage of Israeli soldiers may kill indiscriminately and without regard for collateral damage? Yes. Are they told to? No. Are they encouraged to? No. Is the behavior sanctioned? No.
In any given population, there are individuals who, when given weapons or power , will abuse it. In Israel, given the living of life, amidst so much death, so often, ongoing -threats from Arabs inside and outside Israel, I believe it possible some use the army as an opportunity to punish, hurt, and inflict as much suffering as possible upon innocent people. The number of such individuals in the IDF is probably few enough to fill one standard sized room. On the other side - I believe if you filled a room with Hamas - it would be those who would not slaughter innocents, and the innocents would be Palestinians. There would be no equal number of Hamas, who would not harm Jews.
Do I believe that Hamas kills innocent civilians - Israeli and Palestinian? Yes.
There is a fundamental difference between the two. Anyone who does not, cannot, and or will not see that difference, is a moral fool. There are many such fools in the images from an anti-Israel protest.

IDF forces operating in Gaza on Sunday uncovered an explosive device rigged with a timer that hidden in a Palestinian school. A fuse attached to the explosives extended to a zoo located dozens of yards away.
The soldiers managed to neutralize the bomb before it went off. Numerous weapons, including RPG launchers, grenades and AK-47 assault rifles were found inside the school.
At least 27 Palestinians were killed and some 90 more were injured during IDF attacks throughout Gaza on Sunday, thus bringing the Palestinian death toll since the launching of Operation Cast Lead 16 days ago to 890. Some 3,500 Gazans have been inured in the offensive so far.
The Israeli military said its forces struck some 60 targets on Sunday, including a mosque in Rafah that served as a training facility and a warehouse for improved anti-tank missiles.

Hamas will use women and children as shields. They will hide in schools, behind children.
Hamas will dress up like women to escape from the IDF.
Hamas will use women / dress like women to engage the IDF, thereby forcing the IDF in self-defense to return fire, killing innocents.
Hamas will hide in mosques, schools, hospitals, and when the IDF find them, rather than leave the structure to protect it or the people inside, Hamas will fight from the structure forcing the IDF to blow it and everyone inside up.
Hamas will booby trap schools, mosques, homes, zoos, hospitals - if it is at all possible to kill Israeli soldiers.
For liberals, it is nearly impossible, inconceivable that this idea be self-evident as it is to nearly anyone else who pays attention. Liberals are as great a threat to the state of Israel as are Hamas.
IF Israel were as blood-thirsty as many fools think ... they would kill dozens or hundreds and not think a second thought about such action - blowing up a house with people inside ... why does Israeli security call these people and warn them, if they are blood thirsty? When Hamas call the people to gather, why does Israel not attack the people, if it does not care about women and chidlren?
