To be honest - I don't care - it is understandable. A president is embattled, attacked from all sides - they must come out in defense mode, quickly switch around, and go into campaign mode. It is the way it is, yet the issue I have is - why is it ok for this man to do it, but not Bush. Why did this man attack and denigrate the Bush White House for its campaign mode, but he does it ALL the TIME and not in year 3 or 4 but within the first year.
And not only is his campaign working to get his programs passed (there may be some issues with this), they are reaching out to help English Labour (Reuters) -
LONDON (Reuters) - The Labour party is taking a page from U.S. President Barack Obama's campaign book by contacting voters directly and encouraging word of mouth campaigning by members, its election coordinator said.
Douglas Alexander said Labour, which has been clawing back some of the opposition Conservative party's commanding lead ahead of an election that must be held by June 3, has been in discussion with the Obama team for more than a year.
Clinton did it, Obama is doing it. Bush didn't do it. I wonder if there is a pattern. Does it count as interference in the political activities of another country when this happens?
