Our Children, Our Future

What sort of country do you want your children to grow up in?

Do you want your children to grow up in a country that is respected or loved?

Do you want your children to grow up in a country that is exceptional or just one of all the rest?

Do you want your children to grow up in a country that seeks the best in people and expects the best from all people wherever they call their home, or are we simply all average?

Do you want your children to grow up in a country that is number one or just one of 199 others?

Do you want your child to grow up in a country that cannot stand up to evil when it raises its ugly head anywhere in the world, or would you rather your child grow up in a world where no one has enough power to act alone, and everyone must cooperate to stand up against evil? Evil will ultimately be stronger given that it will take everyone to stand against one, and it will require everyone and I do mean everyone, or you will fail, and your child will be enslaved or worse.

What sort of world do you want your child to grow up in?

An idyllic place where sun shines and snow caps are frozen hard, and everyone smiles and hugs, a place that has never existed and will never exist because that simply is not possible while mankind exists.

Do you want to give up your defense, change your culture, adopt other beliefs - and if so, then are you trying to be American or something else? Something better? But the better is based upon what evidence or what factual past? None. So what is it you want? What type of world? Do you want your child to be free, or are you more concerned about water resources?

Interesting given that most people who are fearful of the world becoming one giant pond, tend to be secular - and it should be the secular world that places its faith in science, yet it seems this time around they don't. I have faith science will address famine and drought, and will save mankind from any water issues or temperature issues - I know our science can, if it does indeed happen - but science will not ensure our freedom, our safety from evil.

We have the technology and the ability to solve man's problems, but we cannot solve those problems if we are unarmed and dependent upon the world community to support us - the world cannot save itself, it cannot help us.

I want my child, first, to grow up free, then all else will fall into place if we can remain free. Otherwise, plenty of food and water means little if you are slaves.
